From general lines only (Ocean Wave, Line, Two Faced Line): Each dancer moves forward one spot along the circulate path shown below: A lead end Circulates to the far center spot in the same line; a lead center Circulates to the far end spot in the same line; a trailing end Circulates to the near center spot in the other line, and a trailing center Circulates to the near end spot in the other line. If two dancers are about to collide and they are facing the same direction, the belle goes in front of the beau; if they are facing each other, they pass right shoulders.

Nur aus normalen Lines (Ocean Wave, Line, Two Faced Line): Jeder Tänzer geht eine Position auf dem Circulate-Weg weiter wie in der Animation gezeigt: Ein führender End-Tänzer geht zur entfernten Center-Position in derselben Line. Ein führender Center-Tänzer geht zur entfernten End-Position in derselben Line. Ein folgender End-Tänzer geht zur nächsten Center-Position der anderen Line und der folgende Center-Tänzer geht zur nächsten End-Position in der anderen Line. Falls dabei zwei Tänzer zusammenstoßen könnten und sie beide in die gleiche Richtung schauen, dann geht der Belle vor dem Beau, wenn sie sich anschauen, dann gehen sie rechtsschultrig aneinander vorbei.
